Local Government and National Park Authorities

'At the present time, local authorities are responsible for the conservation of 95% of the historic environment' HELM 2010

We can provide a range of heritage and conservation services to National Park Authorities, County, District and Parish Councils.

Heritage Management Assessments:
Landscape Character Assessments; Conservation Area Appraisals; Townscape Heritage Initiatives, Conservation Management Plans; Parkland and Landscape Management Plans, and Conditions Surveys and Monitoring.

Historic Environment Record Enhancement:
The HER is a key tool for effective protection and management of the historic environment. We can assist with targeted programmes to improve the quality of this important evidence base through a combination of desk-based research, field survey, HER update and management policy recommendations.
